Hi everyone,
I've been using mfp on my ipod for two weeks now and this is my first time on the website.
This may sound really silly but when i started searching calories i couldn't believe how many i ate a day without realising! they just sneak on in there. So yeah its been really illuminating.
I have a slight issue in that my scales are broken so am just going by look at the moment but even after just 2 weeks i can see changes especially around my ribcage. odd place to start but i'm not complaining!
So yeah just thought i'd say hi and also ask if any1 does zumba? i just started and i love it!

Hi there! I have only been here a month, and have found everyone to be very supportive and a great resource. I, like you, was surprised at how many calories I was consuming without realizing it. It certainly is addictive logging your intake and it makes me realize where I am each day food-wise. It also made me realize I needed to change the way I looked at food and my lifestyle. What a great thing to be able to sync it with your phone. Good luck on your journey!0

Do you have a measuring tape? Taking your waist/hip measurement can be a good idea,to see some results0 -

I just joined a few days ago and am loving it. So many supportive, positive peole in one place...it's great! I'm also much more conscious of what I'm putting in my mouth every day. Not the calories so much as what types of foods I'm eating.
I noticed that I'm slimming down around my rib cage too. I was going more for the lower stomach and thighs, but I'll take what I can get. lol
I was taking zumba at the Y where my kids have classes and really enjoyed it, but the class ends after child care closes, so I was always missing the end of the class so I could pick up my daughter. The other zumba class they have is too early for me. I just need to get the wii version, I guess.0
