This is my story...
It was April 1, 2015 when I started my journey at 5'6" and 210lbs. (Sorry no pics )
Looking in the mirror was actually painful but my wake up call was my 5 yrs old daughter innocently stating my tummy was like "a pillow" (ouch!)
So I decided to make a change...
I started hiit (insanity) April 1st and completed it on June 2nd. And by the end of it I was an amazing 186lbs (unfortunately I had plateau'd the last 2 weeks)
Not fully satisfied but proud of my accomplishments I decided to not only continue my weight loss journey but to get stricter on my intake and macros ( I regret not starting from the beginning). I blew past my plateau, incorporated weights, hiit, and steady state cardio (5km runs)
I weighed in today at......
166lbs !!!!! July 15 ,2015
38lbs in 3.5 months of dedicate work!!
So jut as a MSG to all who thoughti couldn't do it... Ha! You DO NOT define me....
.... And a MSG to all those individuals who are/were where I was. Keep pushing and be the best you can be! Ignore the ppl that say you can't do it, just give up. The only person that can stop you is YOU!
Ps. I love this community. You guys have also been a part of my success, so thank you too

If it makes you feel better, when I was 5 I called my mom fat while she was working out. Granted she called herself fat all the time. Kids parrot parents and as a general rule everyone should be kinder to themselves.
Congratulations on the major loss!0 -
Wow, congrats on the weight loss success! It took me over a year to lose 38 pounds. You've had quite the ride since April0
