Not just the overnight oatmeal you need - the overnight oatmeal you DESERVE! Chocolate Almond Butter
I haven't been one to make overnight oatmeal as it always looked rather....blah. There are SO many recipes floating around out there that who knows which one is worth it.
I've saved you the trouble...THIS one is worth it!
Chocolate Almond Butter Overnight Oatmeal
Into a jar or container with lid combine the following:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup milk (I use soy)
2 tsp maple syrup (or to taste or 1 chopped date)
2 tsp cocoa powder
1 tsp ground flax
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tbsp almond butter.
Stir it all up. Put the lid on and throw in the fridge overnight.
Voila! Breakfast is ready!
