I have recently started using a slimming vibration platform machine together with low carb diet plan. Even though I do find the exercise platform very easy to use.. I do find it difficult to maintain a good eating habit as I do have a thing for chocolate and sweets. I have a busy job and lifestyle so don't get time to go to gym but it's either to cold or I'm too tired to even try!! So thought a home challenge shared within a community and posting my results everyday could motivate me and others to try the same challenge and work towards a goal without gym or much exercise.
Please research the slimming vibration platforms. Vibro platform is the one I'm using but there are a lot of different types out there. It works as I've already seen results. Watch and learn on you tube also.
The Challenge will be using the platform machine for 20 mins every day for 30 days. Maintain a low carb high protein Diet. I will post my what I have eaten each day and exercise i have done. I have a goal of 3kg to lose in 30 days. I plan to start on 20th July. On day 1, I will provide measurements and current weight then Once a week I will provide more measurements and weight to watch my progress. Join in if u like and do the same!!

OP you can't be srs. These machines do nothing.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - there is no point low carbing if you're constantly craving sugary sweets. It's not needed for weight loss, just eat in a caloric deficit, eat what you want in moderation and you will lose weight.
Slimming vibration platforms do nothing, if they did, everyone would be slim. Right?
And low carb diets are meant to be 'low carb, high fat, moderate protein'.0 -
what is a slimming world platform machine????????0

OP - if you did a low carb diet and did not use this machine, you would still lose weight..
I fail to see what the challenge is in standing on a vibrating machine...0 -

So you stand on a vibrating machine and think its going to help you lose weight ??
Seriously, think about that. How would standing on a vibration machine cause weight loss ?
Eat at a calorie deficit and you'll lose weight, no vibration machine is needed0 -
Just when I thought I'd seen it all!
Sitting on it might be fun, though...

I thought the best part was where it said people can see results by laying on the machine. Lmao !!!!!!!
Wouldn't it be nice if that where true !?! Lol0 -

Op, I hope you're taking progress pics so we can see just how well this giant vibrator works.0

I have read about these before. I think the idea is you do exercises on them like squats and the vibration challenges your balance, forcing them to work a bit harder than on a non vibrating surface. Sort of like a bosu ball.
It's sometimes used for therapeutic purposes. For that purpose, it may be effective. But I don't see how it could ever burn enough calories to be effective cardio.0 -
They are great for getting the junk
Out of your veins. And yes you do have to work out on them. Or else it's just a massage0 -

Pretty sure if you started loosening "junk" in your veins you would be a prime candidate for a stroke!
That's almost as funny as my massage therapist telling me to drink plenty of water to help remove the toxins she released during my deep tissue massage. I just grinned and said ok...

I do find the exercise platform very easy to use..
Are you actually doing anything OP?
Weight loss is from a calorific deficit. How do you know you are at one?
I use the power plates at the gym more for the massage and cool down. I feel its been effective in helping me avoid injury and reduces soreness. So doing nothing isnt really true.
Im open minded to the people who use them properly. Cba getting into a cripple fight, am off to gym to do some cardio and weights, then I'll probably spend some time on the power plates after.0 -
There's a pair of these machines at my local gym, while I agree that I cant think what benifit they would be for weight loss, MAN are they good for your back after a heavy weights session! Sit on one for 60 seconds and turn the vibrations up to full, sooooo good. But yeah, cant see how they could possibly help you lose weight.0

Popular back in the early 1900"s, lol.
