I'm 5'3", female, 134 lbs, eating 1200 cals a day and exercising on a stationary bike for 30 mins a day. I've lost 4 lbs so far but don't want to lose muscle.

What at home strength training should I be doing and for how long etc? I don't have access to a gym at all and can't currently afford to buy any equipment.

    Look into calisthenics.

if joining a gym is not an option then I would say look into "you are your own gym" or "convict training"

I would suggest joining a gym and running a program like strong lifts or all pro beginner, if that is an option.

Nerd fitness has a beginner body weight routine here that might be a good place to start.

There are lots of similar routines available online. I think it's important to move increase the difficulty whenever the workout you're doing starts to get too easy.

I'm a bit of a fitness newbie too. I've been doing the routine from Mark Lauren's book "Body By You" for 5 weeks now and am pretty happy with it. You just need pretty standard stuff from around the house like a towel, sturdy door, counter and chairs for some exercises but no equipment.

Startbodyweight.com has a good basic routine for bodyweight exercises too.

Check out Goodwill or other thrift store gor fitness equipment. You can get dumbells & yoga mats for a couple $. Sometimes machines show up too. Check back frequently.

But if don't want any equipment then learn bodyweight training as mentioned above. Push ups, squats, $ planks oh a long way but be sure to use correct form.
