I'm looking for friends to help keep me on track as I struggle to lose the last 10 & keep strong while struggling with Multiple Sclerosis symptoms & a bilateral spinal fusion on 7/3/15.

Hey Deby. I am new to this fp. I have scoliosis, spinal stenosis, bilateral fractures of the spine, and symptoms that are like fibro. Sore muscles all over. I'm 45, and in KY. I need to lose at least 40lbs.0

I didn't realize when you leave a message here, you don't get notified when someone responds so I apologize for not answering right away!
I can sympathize w/you. So hard to lose weight under those conditions & you have so many restrictions on your physical abilities.
I only have about 15 lbs I need to lose (again)! My weight fluctuates due to meds, MS & Hashimoto's Disease (hypothyroidism,) along w/chronic fatigue & pain.
I'm 54 & live in FL but look much younger (probably due to staying inside & having a 16 yr-old son along w/2 adult children.)
Did you friend me? Let's keep in touch.0 -
Hi
I too have MS and struggle with just the basic daily walking let alone some form of exercise plan. Since Jan when I started I have managed to shed a stone but struggle with the last 7 lbs. The fatigue kicks in big time if I do too much.

I'm taking both Focalin & Amatadine for MS Lasitude & can still sleep days!! I gained 15 seemingly overnight from being unable to walk from horrendous back pain, lost almost 8 working my butt off, had spinal fusion on 7/3 & 3 days ago the scale said I gained it all back lying in bed!0

Hey there, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis need to drop ten more pounds after working hard to get the 14 off so far. In my 50's and with RA it reduces my ability to get much activity. Slower then slow metabolism0

I have osteoarthritis but have heard that RA mimics many disease such as Fibromyalgia & MS. It's a tough daily battle not to keep gaining let alone lose. My trainer's advice when stuck on the last 10-15 like we both are is to make 1 small change & stick w/it like giving up my daily coca-cola. When I did that, I lost my last 10 but have gained it back + 5 for reasons above!0
