I'm not a big breakfast person so I just recently started making fruit/spinach smoothies in the morning.. Does anyone have any good recipes that you would recommend?

Yessss I now make a smoothie at least once a day. I do some kind of nut butter (usually almond or peanut), vanilla Greek yogurt, unsweetened vanilla almond milk, spinach, a banana or frozen mixed berries, protein powder and a sprinkle of Stevia. They are SO good. And really help me reach my protein goals.

Strawberry Banana is my primary go to smoothie. No real recipe, but if I had to guess it would probably be about...
    4 strawberries, frozen
    1/2 banana, frozen
1 cup milk (type of your choice, I prefer soy)
    2-3 standard size ice cubes

I do caution you on some recipes you may find. Enter them into the recipe calculator first, some can be surprisingly higher in calories than you may thing. Especially if they have nut butters.

That's a good idea to check first. I've been doing them with water because for some reason I don't love soy, almond or any other milk that is the more healthy choice!

It TASTES like a dessert. Especially after I add a little bit of Stevia.

This is a bit of a veggie smoothie but I love it and it's really.low in calories but high in nutrients!:

    1 stick celery
    2 inches cucumber
    Handful of spinach
Half an green apple (or more if you want it sweeter)
Thumb size bit of ginger (again to taste)
Quarter of lime with rind cut off

Sometimes I add cashews, almonds or flaxseed too to get a bit more of a nutty taste!

I love chia seeds. Feel so full after drinking smoothie. I also love raw honey. I use plain Greek yogurt which I hate the taste but so good with the honey mixed with fruit.
