Hello I'm new

Options
A friend of mine suggested using my fitness pal so that I could get a good look at what I'm eating and exercising everyday.

I have to lose 2 and a half stone before our consultant will put us on the list for IVF treatment so obviously this is huge reason for wanting to do it.

I've always battled with myn weight I used to be slim until I hit 18!

I'm looking forward to meeting people in a similar situation.

    Hey new folks :)

MFP has been working for a lot of us for a long while so I think it's great that you've found it. As long as you're completely honest with yourself - it doesn't matter if you have bad days because everyone does! - you should find that it can really work for you too.

Stick with these messgae boards too, people can tell you some very interesting and worthwhile things.

    Best of luck :)

I am new too. Been struggeling with weight all my life. I am at a all time high right now and I really dont like that, it worries me for my health. I find that as you get older you wear your weight differently. I am not into exercising a lot but that needs to change. Wish me luck !!!

Thankyou for the lovely warm welcome. I'm already starting to feel right at home and really enjoying putting together my food diary.

    Hi welcome,
I have been using MFP since Jan and only just logged on to the site via my pc, MFP is really helping me in ways diets never have before. I love all foods but have had to reduce my portions so i plate up as usual then cut in half and find this is working for me. Hope your programme is working for you as well.

Hi I just wanted to say hi to you and I always say every little helps. I have introduced MFP to my sister and walking partner today so we could motivate each other and learn from each other. You are welcome to join in. All the best Msgadger:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

Hi Tanya yes I agree portion size is my downfall too. Although I'm a sucker for a packet of crisps.
I now have something to lose weight for and it couldn't be much more important in my opinion. I'm dying for my new scales to arrive this week though cos I really want to know if I've lost anything yet.

Hello! I too am hoping to lose weight and see my dream of becoming pregnant come true! Thanks be to God, through His good grace, my husband and I are parents through adoption to two beautiful and amazing children. I was diagnosed close to 10 years ago with PCOS and the fertiity specialist said the best thing I can do to increase my chances of conceiving is to lose weight. I started using myfitnesspal almost 2 weeks ago and it has been very eye opening.. Good luck :flowerforyou:

Good Luck to you also. We could maybe become fitness buddies so we can keep track of each other?
