    You'll get a lot "calories in calories out" replies, I'm sure, which is true. Cardio burns more calories, which would assist you with weight loss - fat and muscle - as you cant just "burn fat". Weight lifting helps to retain muscle. So, for me, I do 30 min of cardio with 30-60 min weight lifting.

    Look up some fun HIIT workouts - High Intensity Interval Training. They combine cardio and strength training in, you guessed it, intense bursts.
