Just thought I'd share my Pico De Gallo recipe

This recipe is very delicious and refreshing.. I just love it and well wanted to share the goodness.. Hope you all love it as much as I do..

•20 medium tomatoes diced
•1 medium white onion diced
•one bunch of cilantro chopped fine
• 1 lime
• salt
• Garlic Powder 2-3 tsp (more if optional)
1-2 jalapenos (optional to add more)
After all is chopped simply mix all together in bowl.. Season with salt and garlic to preferred taste.. Done and enjoy!!!!

    Yes I know it's seems like a lot but once gutted and diced it's really not as much, and of course since its time consuming to make, I like to make it in bulk to last a while..lol
    It keeps really good you can also freeze it if you'd like

    It's not as much as it seems.. Lol
    Time consuming to make so I make it in bulk.. It keeps well and can also be frozen..lol

    My pico is very similar. I don't use 20 tomatoes, I use about 4-6 depending on size. I use fresh garlic. A lot of jalapeños. And in addition to the white onion, I use a little green onion also. Yum. My mouth is watering. Absolutely addicted to this. Put it on grilled chicken!

    Also is it weird that I enjoy drinking the juice from it?!?
    I love it!! Hahahahaha..
    Might make some cringe, but I find it quite tasty..

    i would not go that far and freeze tomatoes.....
    and yes, fresh garlic is better

    LOL, here in West Texas Pico De Gallo is equal parts tomato, onion and jalapeno, with lime and sometimes cilantro for seasoning. Despite being a gringa born and raised back east, I couldn't go a day without Pico de Gallo and Salsa Verde with tomatillos and green chile.

    I never freeze it.. Well it never lasts long in my house.. Lol

    i make it very similar ~ but use vidalia onion and fresh garlic ~ and not quite as many tomatos ~ but OhMyGoodness YUM!
