idk how i feel about that. just the part where they "created" it not "discovered" it freaks me out0

a lot of people will feel that way, but that is due to lack of understanding and press brainwashing... immunisations are created using DNA profiling or insulin in created using protien sequencing, and pretty much all corn is genetically modified in some way. but a taboo isnt made on these. i simply prefer to eat meat rather than a meat replacement, and all cuts of pig taste good0

I would try it just out of curiosity, but it looks like dried fruit roll ups.0

I wonder if it tastes like bacon flavoring or actual bacon. Like Bac-os versus real bacon. I would probably try it on a salad but as a standalone or on a sandwich, real bacon reigns supreme.0

if I was vegan that would be my food of choice, seaweed that tastes like bacon.
As I'm not I'm vegan, I'm just gonna keep enjoy bacon, something that doesn't taste like seaweed!0 -

GMO corn is fed to livestock for the most part, that actually goes for all GMO's. The demand for meat is so high that there is no way all of the animals could be fed conventionally. My husband works for the USDA so he knows.
Bacon is so ridiculously overrated. As a vegan I may try this algae if it's offered at one of the veg restaurants I frequent but I am not going to run out and grab some. If I or my husband want a smoky flavor we just marinate tempeh in liquid smoke and fry it up- no cholesterol and no animal suffering involved!0
