Barely reaching a few hundred a day when it says I require 3400, potassium is really important but I can't understand how to reach this goal?

In the US, potassium isn't required to be listed on nutrition labels, which can cause your potassium intake to appear falsely low. If you're really worried about it, I recommend using USDA food entries (or entries that contain potassium) as a really rough idea of how much you're consuming.

Potassium chloride as a salt substitute. 625 mg per 1/4 tsp.

I'm trying to up my potassium too to lower my blood pressure. I eat bananas, kiwi fruit, apples, sweet potato, kale, natural yogurt, avocados, white beans, spinach, dried apricots, mushrooms, squash all for potassium.
