Water Consumption - Option To Add Standard Units Of Measurement, Such As Litres?

So it has been a while since I was last here, however I note that some things within the app / online account still need to be updated.

The generic quantity for "Water Consumption" is cups.

Despite looking everywhere I cannot find a unit of measurement for cups, the more recognised units are litres and I guess Imperial is fluid ounces.

To the moderators / app developers:

Can we look at implementing standard units of measurement for Water Consumption?

Thanks in advance.

Since MFP is based / created / maintained / owned in the USA, it would make sense to look
for info relating to US standard measurements.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cup_(unit)

"The cup currently used in the United States for nutrition labelling is defined in United States law as 240 ml.
    1 US "legal" cup = 240 milliliters"

FYI, 1 cup is 8 oz
    1 oz is 30 ml

From Bing, for the search string how much in a measuring cup

But yeah, it would be nice that if someone selects to have his/her food info in metric,
    and weight info in metric,
    and ticker report in metric,
    etc.,
the water intake would also be in metric.

Or you could just ignore that feature.
    I do.

The measurement is "cup"; but the symbol is a glass :p

I have also migrated to Fitbit, wher you can track in ml, cups and fl oz.
