What Motivates You Out Of Bed Every Morning ?

Nevermind waking up at 6am to workout. I mean waking up, staring at the ceiling and just thinking of nothing. When do you decide. "Okay, I've been laying here for 2 hours. Time to get dressed."

Um, my job? If I am off that day, living my life and accomplishing something.0

You just do it. I don't like sleeping the day away. When my alarm goes off, it's up and at 'em.0

If I go by your headline "What Motivates You Out Of Bed Every Morning ?",
I tend to get out of bed at the insistence of my bladder lol...
If I go by you actual question "Okay, I've been laying here for 2 hours. Time to get dressed."
That motivation is more apt to hit if I have destination in mind...

Beating yesterday's me. Everyday I wake up is a chance for me to do what I couldn't do before, to beat personal records that I thought I couldn't do before and to continue to be the best version of me. "They say beauty's in the eye of the beholder
That's why I look in the mirror every morning and realize how fly I am!"0 -
#1 force that motivates me out of bed is needing to use the bathroom.
My child needing care
My pets needing care
Packing lunch for dh
Hunger
Thirst
Boredom
Lonliness
I rarely want to lie in bed and stare at the ceiling for hours. I would get twitchy. I may not get dressed for hours after getting up but I get up.0 -

^^ Same with me...
If I never had to pee, I'm pretty sure I'd live in bed. I love sleeping.0 -

Oh man. I have the same problem. On my days off I tell myself that I will for sure wake up early and work out or at least do something productive...but I end up sleeping through my alarms and staying in bed until noon.
But when I work, the kiddos I take care of are what motivate me to get out of bed. They depend on me to be on time!0 -
Having to pee & feed the cat(s).
Having to get to work (on the days I work).0 -
Gotta let my dogs run around! Then I'm like alright breakfast so they can go on a proper walk.0

On workdays, it's usually "Won't have time to shower if I don't get up now." My personal presentation is very important to me. On weekends, it's often "Aw man, I have to pee."0

Hungry cat who meows at me until I get up to feed him.0

My dogs! They hear my "silent" FitBit alarm and jump off the bed knowing it's breakfast time. Our oldest dog is diabetic so it's important that she gets her insulin every 12 hours which is 5am and 5pm.....0

I finally got myself after a year to get up at 5:30-6:00. I don't have to start work until around 9 or even a bit later. I work out of the house so right now just the idea of looking any better has gotten me up. Even losing one pound. Sounds dumb but we went overseas and the photos of me looked so much better than I've looked in two years. I feel a excitement to be up and know that by Christmas I'll look even better.. sometimes I get up just to try on clothes to see if they fit. I still have some weight to go to be able to look good in some of the clothes but I'm that excited. Coffee is my other excitement. Three cups which I enjoy every single am.0

My alarm goes off at 4:20am every morning as my shift begins at 6:45am. I guess you could say that my paycheck is the motivating factor for getting out of bed at that time. On my days off I'm up and out of bed by 7am because I like waking up before my kids and hubby.0

Honestly... its more of a "no choice" situation that "motivation".
You have to work, you have to eat, you have to clean...so you drag yourself out of bed and do it.0 -

Honestly? If I didn't have to pee at 5 freaking 30 every morning like clockwork, I'd easily sleep in til 10!0

I really can't stay in bed too long. But obviously if I didn't I would get fired, lol0
