I've looked in my last couple diary entrees in the nutrition part and I noticed daily I lack fiber, iron, potassium. I now understand why I'm constantly getting foot cramps. Does anyone have any suggestion to different kinds of foods I could eat to get more of the nutrients I need. Thank you :)

Fortified cereals, red meats, and nuts should help with iron. Fruits should help with fiber and potassium.

Potatoes have a lot of potassium. Red meat has lots of iron. Most fruits and veggies have a good amount of fiber.

It's hard to recommend foods because we don't know what you like. If google for foods high in potassium or iron, you'll get lists. :)

High iron foods include seeds, nuts, red meat, beans and legumes, whole grains, dark leafy greens, tofu and dark chocolate (!). High potassium foods - beans (e.g. white beans), sweet potatoes, yoghurt, fish, molasses, edamame, avocados and bananas. Fibre - fruits, vegies, grains.

Also make sure the food you're logging has the correct values for iron, potassium, and fiber etc. a lot of the entries in the database are blank even though the foods contain them.

Potassium amounts in the database is notoriously inaccurate because it is not required on labelling.

Try eating a banana every day and see if that helps with the cramps.

Red meat for iron and avocados for fiber. I also take a magnesium supplement and go heavy with my salt. I'm also going to buy some lite salt http://www.mortonsalt.com/for-your-home/culinary-salts/food-salts/3/morton-lite-salt-mixture/ to get in more potassium. That way I don't have to eat banana and all that crummy sugar that everyone keeps recommending.
