    I thought it was insulting. Some ppl especially the ones new to the site or new to dieting may not know the answer and you say "I'm not that stupid" it can really offend someone. The reason I speak up is b/c I joined not too long ago and asked the same question but I was really wanting to know. I hope you have a Happy Memorial day too.

    Perhaps stupid was an inappropriate word.
    But this question is asked constantly on MFP..
    I didn't mean to 'insult' anyone.

    yes, its asked constantly, but the answers are usually very mixed and many times the people who answer are just as clueless as the person who asked in the first place.
