This is soooo good! This makes 1 serving
1 cup almond milk
ice
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use syntrax nectar chocolate truffle)
2 tbsp bakers coconut
blend it up in my ninja & it's delicious!
200 calories/serving.

I AM TRYING THIS TOMORROW! I am very very excited. I usually do the same thing, but add a banana and loose the coconut. I like yours better:)

Add frozen banana... always add frozen banana to a smoothie. :) mind blown :)

I do a half banana in most of my smoothies too--it improves the sweetness and the texture of the smoothie. I use unsweetened protein powder because I am not crazy about the artificial sweet taste that comes with most flavored powders.

You could add a bit of hershey's baking chocolate too, just to chocolate it up a bit. 1/2 tablespoon has 5 calories.

I don't add a banana because if I'm going to eat the carbs of a banana, I want to EAT the banana! Lol. The protein powder I use is also 0 carbs, 0 sugar, 23 g protein!
