So I had decided as a new years resolution that i wanted to lose 20 pounds, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and exercise more frequently.

well so far so good!!!

thanks to taking hot yoga when i was in school 3-5 times a week, running on the treadmill now, maintaining a healthy diet, etc i have managed to lose 10 pounds and tone up like crazy!!!

at first it was hard and at times now i still worry and struggle, but i feel sooooo much healthier now it is unbelieveable.

not only do i feel more empowered, i also can sense a change in my whole out look on life.

i have so much more energy, i am so much more creative and productive, and i am so much happier!

i just wanted to post this as well because i want to let you all know that crash dieting is not the key in my opinion! really to lose weight you need to burn it off while maintaining healthy eating pattern. Even though the weight loss is slow (10lbs in 5 months) what's good about it is the weight stays off.


:) so i highly suggest hot yoga to anyone looking to reinvent themselves and to anyone looking to change the quality of their lives x2352543

    Thanks for the inspiration. I am only at 8 lbs of 65, so I am looking at next summer as my goal weight. I agree with you about going slow and easy. I've seen too many friends go on crash diets only to gain it all back (and then some). Keep up the good work!:smile:
