I wish I lived closer to the beach, London is way to far away from a decent beach

Me too, who's your favourite author?

Parameters too broad! Asking me who my favorite author is.. it's an impossible question.

    I love Fantasy.

    I love Sci-Fi.

    I love mystery/crime novels..

I have a long standing romance with historical fiction

And even some non-fiction captures my attention and imagination.

To make me choose between any one author in any one genre is a sin in and of itself.. for while I adore Brandon Sanderson, I also love Lovecraft and while I can veg out to Asimov I would just as soon revisit some Card. Steven King and Kootz, they write in the same genre but they're so very different. So while you might find me in a library reading some Terry Brooks.. you are just as likely to see me with a copy of Ivanhoe in hand or flipping through the pages of Donaldson.

Oh my goodness, way too many to list. How about favorite breweries?
    - New Glarus: ironically, Spotted Cow is my least favorite NG brew
    - Karben4: lurve me some Fantasy Factory
    - Ale Asylum: maker of Mad City's unofficial beer Hopalicious
    - O'so: they'e got a great line of limited release, high gravity barrel aged beers
    - Central Waters: at the 45th parallel
    - Lagunitas: West Coast represent
    - Bell's: so versatile and good at everything
    - Three Floyds: so extreme
    - Toppling Goliath: hop masters
    - Tyranena: also have a line of specialty high gravity brews
    - plus too many to list from Milwaukee: Milwaukee brewing, Sprecher, Brenner, ad inf.
