I'm so determined this time

Hello,
I'm on day two of my quest to lose weight. I've been on diets before but have never stuck to them but this time I know I need to do something. I started university three years ago at a healthy weight but a poor lifestyle has left me leaving two stone overweight. My goal is to lose 2 stone (or 28lbs seeing as I think this a predominantly an American site) by the end of January. Ideally, I'd like to lose more in the area of 35lbs but don't want to stress myself out too much so hopefully I'll lose at least 28 by the end of Jan and if I need to lose more to get to the 35 I'll do it then.
It's only been a couple of days but so far so good the difference this time is I'm excited to do it. I'm looking forward to fitting into my old dresses, being able to run more than down the street without getting tires and being able to eat a sensible portion of lunch without my brain nagging me for more. I've brushed off the old wii fit, been jogging and done some cardio exercises I've found online. In terms of food I've swapped most of my white carbs for brown ones, drastically cut down on sugar, eating smaller portions at meal times and snacking on fruit instead of junk food.
So yeah lets do this!

Good luck! You can totally do it--the mindset and will is the first thing you need. So long as you accurately count calories (weighing everything solid and measuring everything liquid that doesn't have a weight) and LOG EVERYTHING, you will lose weight.0

sounds like you have a great start, I couldn't swap out the white for brown carbs just because I don't like the taste, that is my of my biggest problems is I am very fussy and don't like a lot of veggies. So good for you0
