So the last few weeks have been chaotic, and I wasn't able to get my lifting sessions in, although I did continue walking twice a week for 40 minutes each time.
I went back to the gym today for a lower leg routine. I was actually able to increase some of the resistance on some exercises, and some of exercises were easier than last time - I take this as I was at least maintaining my strength/muscle gains, even if I wasn't able to lift the past 2 weeks. Yay!
I also noticed my appetite is much better when I exercise, especially lift weights. It makes it easier to get adequate protein in, because I actually feel hungry for it and it's more appealing when I'm at a higher level of hunger from the strength training.
