Create your own exercise under "My Exercises", and invest in a heart rate monitor. Only way you're going to actually know how many calories you burn.

Put it under strength training or circuit training. It's just going to be an estimate and it's more a brand than a specific exercise, isn't it? I mean, you're doing squats, pullups, etc. not doing "a crossfit", right?

The problem with entries like that is that MFP has absolutely no idea how hard you worked during your session. Any number it gives is going to be arbitrary, at best. I agree with @mackenzies_frenzies. If that's going to be your main source of exercise calories then you should invest in a heart rate monitor and create an entry for your crossfit into which you enter the calories calculated by your heart rate monitor.

In the meantime, you could choose an Aerobics entry. It's going to be as close as anything else, which is to say it's a wild guess.

I log my crossfit workouts under my exercises. I have the Fitbit Charge HR so i know exactly how many calories i burned doing each workout.

I suppose MFP might add them if the METs were available.
The MFP pre-loaded exercises are based on published metabolic equivalent of tasks (METs), the majority of which are listed in the Compendium of Physical Activities. In my searching of the Internet, I have not come across any published METs values for the CrossFit* series of exercises.

I doubt you can measure them accurately without a heart rate monitor. The exercises are so varied as is the intenisity level between each workout. I put mine in as vigorous calisthenics. It gives me a low amount of calories for it, possibly way low but im trying to lose weight so I dont care. The last workout a guy had a heart monitor we finished close to about the same time. I weigh more than him. My method logged 400 calories, his heart rate monitor said 700. He also said his will continue to burn extra calories for another hour or so.

This is what I do. Polar M400 with H7 chest strap. After your workout you get calorie burn, and can review your workout from a HR Zone perspective.
