I have ALWAYS been the fat friend, the one who gets told that you're pretty for a big girl, the girl Who never felt like she fit in. I'm sick and tired of it. I've started losing weight and I feel better both inside and out. I have never owned a scale because I was always afraid of the number I'd see, so I only get weighed in at doctors appointments. Today was a weigh in and I've lost 12 lbs in 3 weeks and a total of 27 since April. It may not seem like a lot, but it's unbelievable to me that I could accomplish anything like this without help. I don't have any amazing diet tricks and I haven't even really started exercising, I just stopped soda and drastically cut my carbs down. My hope is that this helps someone to believe in themselves enough to get started, because that was the hardest part for me.
