Losing belly fat

Hi,

I am about 2kg off my target body weight and on my way to losing it. I don't really have a weight problem. But I have stubborn belly fat that I just can't shake off. I haven't been working out for a few months now, but even when I was active (4 days a week), I still didn't manage to burn the fat. I wasn't eating 'wrong' food on a conventional sense i.e no fatty food, fried, fizzy drinks etc. Any tips on what I can do ?

Thanks,
Rav

Cut down on carbs and do a consistent workout- no matter how small it is, even if its 10 minutes do it everyday.

Why? You can't spot reduce, so what will this do, especially since this thread is a year old and the OP never returned to the forums?

Hi Rav, and well done on your progress - you will just have to keep going - you can't spot reduce, there is no 'wrong food' - calorie defecit and progressive resistance .. and when at goal weight, eat at maintenance and progressive resistance. Some areas of fat can be a bit more stubborn, for many that's belly fat - you just have to keep on keeping on

sorry - but this won't help
