Does anyone else use the Fitbit with MFP? I am doubting its accuracy at this point

I do (have been since March last year) :) What are you doubting about it?

I've been using it for 3 years - since I went into maintenance. I have a zip - not the wrist one. My steps match my old digital pedometers exactly.

It can be annoying though, as some people have much longer steps than others. So when my husband and I walk together, he always gets 50% more steps than I do. But if you watch our steps, he takes much shorter strides than I do. I also know that slow smooth steps are undercounted while bouncy steps - especially if you have a big belly or put it in your bra - can be overcounted. If you have a wrist monitor, vigorous movement can set it off. Driving on a bouncy road up a mountain can look like stairs.

In general though, I found it very accurately counts my relative movement - I got a lot more steps on days I move a lot than others. I found it helps get me moving. I also eat back all those calories and my weight has been stable for several years.

I've successfully maintained for a year by syncing my Fitbit with Trendweight.com (it's free) to see the trend without the "noise" of water weight.

If (and only if) you enable negative calorie adjustments, MFP adjusts your daily calorie goal to TDEE minus deficit: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/account/diary_settings

But you still have to log everything you eat & drink accurately & honestly.
