I did it again....I lost 5.5 pounds this week....I worked out every day, except last night...drank lots of water...stayed in my ranges..and burnt hella calories...lol....YEA HOO!!!!!!!!!!!

    5.5 POUNDS???? way to go!!! I would love to have a week like that, what was your calorie burn compared to your calorie intake? I might just give that a try. :love:
  • i saw that one day 5 pounds but it came back. How? I wasn't eating any more or any less. Maybe water weight? But hopefuly this time next week I"ll be down two more pounds? I just have to be careful on the weekends because that is when I see family and we eat. How can you not take in family cooking? If not eating family cooking what should I eat then? I know I can eat in small portions which generally I do. I am not even that much of an eater just some how what I eat , now , stays up with me.

  • I make sure that I eat at least my daily required which is 1700...it takes my body 2200 cals to survive...so i eat 1700 so i can lose....then I work out....I have a watch..really its a heart rate monitor...that tells me how many calories I have burned throughout the day....It is really a motivator...especially when I know I am over my limit and I need to get rid of the said extra calories...

    could have been water weight especially if you werent trying to get rid of it....the best thing to do when you go to a family...is HAVE A PLAN....eat something before you go over..something that is just below your allowed amount...maybe enough room for dessert...or enoough for the snacks that get passed around....Involve them...let them know what you are doing...you may create a wave, and change others for the better too....Host your own family get together...and serve healthy yummy options...just so they know that healthy food is not bad..get some healthy recipies...bring a dish that you can share with everyone...veggie lasagna or something...so that you have somethnig to eat worry free..and you have showed your cooking talent...lol...Hope that helps...and thanks for being my friend
