Hi, if you go to caloriesperhour web sight, they have different resturant menus and you can find out the
    calories of differten items.
But I say you should have a cheet day for your birthday.
Maybe do an extra workout that morning and you will not feel so bad.
    Have a great birthday!

YAH! Enjoy your b-day, you earned it!:drinker: :flowerforyou:
  • Have a cheat day, then the next day - get back on track. Don't beat yourself up before it even happens. If you need to lessen your guilt, look at the menu before hand and order a dish with lots of veggies and light soy sauce (they have lighter sauce options even with the spicy garlic sauce). Hope you enjoy!

  • Happy up comming BD!!
You should have a cheat day, but if that doesn't feel right, use the menu idea and maybe share your meal that you get with your mom? Would that work?

Enjoy your birthday. Eat light at the chinese place (chicken veggies, steamed rice, no eggroll, nothing fried). Do a little extra exercise or just start over the next day. One day will not sabotage your progress. If anything, make it a learning experience. Kinda test yourself while you are there to see just how good you can be at making healthier decisions, like no fried stuff and lots of veggies. This way you have won a battle and still had chinese!!! You can do this!!!

    Happy Early Birthday and ENJOY!!!:flowerforyou:

It’s your birthday. Go have a wonderful meal with your mother. Build happy memories. The day after get right back on track. Don’t let the only thing you will remember about your birthday is how much you worried and agonized over what you were going to eat or what you did eat. One meal, one day is not going to cause you to gain back everything you have already lost.
Not even think about getting back on the scales again until 2 to 3 days after your birthday. You will see a gain if you do. The day after I eat out the scales are always up no less then 2 and a half pounds to 5 pounds. :noway: Give your body a chance to deal with what you have put in it before you go looking at the scales and get all upset over what you see on them.
We all need a treat day and you are long over due. Your birthday is a good day to have that day. Have a wonderful birthday meal with your mother. Go build those happy memories and enjoy your day.

My husband is diabetic and his doctor gives him two cheat days a year! Enjoy, but don't be surprised if the fried stuff doesn't taste as good as it used to!

My husband has had 2 heart attacks. His doctors said he could have what ever he wants one meal a week as long as he eats right the rest of the week. We have that meal on Fridays. That is our “Treat” day.
It helps get us through the rest of the week because we know dinner Friday night is coming.
