So I am just getting into exercise and being fit is my ultimate goal. I just started this week working with a personal trainer and developing a routine. I am excited, motivated but God am I sore. I've been dealing with it and this morning I felt pretty good. I went through my workout routine with my trainer today. During which I developed a headache and by the end of the workout felt like I was about to vomit. I still have a wicked headache so I'm just taking it easy. But I was curious for those of you that have been here, how long was it until you started feeling better and less like you were going to keel over? I could use a little inspiration.
Thanks!

Where you hydrated before your workout? Did you rehydrate after you workout? Did you eat a heavy meal before your workout? How long has it been since your workout?

Are you eating enoug protein before and carbs after? Eat something with potassium after too. It wil help with the cramps/soreness. Lots of water!

I had a couple of Aussie bites (similar to a healthy breakfast cookie, a peach, cup of coffee and a bottle of water beforehand and a shake afterwards, I was a little afraid to really eat for a bit afterwards. After the shake I was able to eat like normal. It's been about 7 hours since my workout. I usually workout in the morning, so I was thinking next time I'll eat a spinach, mushroom and cheese omelet with a side of tomatoes. Maybe that will work better?

Make sure you are breathing properly for your workout. And get plenty of water--replenish whatever you sweat out.

Make sure you finish eating at least 90 minutes before your workout or you probably will puke.

Not at all. I eat during my workout sometimes.

To answer the OP, pretty much never. I had to bail during my last set of squats tonight in fact because I was getting too nauseous. It happens.
