Dates hosed me!....or did they?

So I've read many conflicting reports about high fiber foods. I went to Costco today and rocked the dates thinking they are crazy healthy...I stuffed like 10 in my face only to realize they are like 60 calories a pop!

I did some reading though and despite the calories they are supposedly great for weight loss....hmmmm thoughts?

    You're not supposed to eat them. You're supposed to juggle them. Great exercise.

    "Healthy" food have calories. Like all other "non-healthy" foods you have to eat them in moderation. If the dates were large, gonna be calorie bombs.

    Lol they were ugggg bumming at least whiskey is fairly low cal lol

    They're only good for weight loss if you eat them while maintaining a calorie deficit. They have no magical "weight loss" voodoo. Having said that, if you like 'em, enjoy!
