    My first serious BF moved to Miami (from NJ) on my 16th birthday...I was totally and completely heart broken and we are friends on FB and still chat now and then and he told me recently that I was his first love...

    16, and since I have a child with him I have no choice but to think of him. Not in a romantic way though. Much better off without him.

    When I was 11 my Parents split and the Man Who I always thought was my Father started ignoring me and would take my younger Sister and Brother for camping trips and other activities and acted like I didnt exist anymore. My Mom finally confessed that he wasn't my real Dad. Kinda *kitten* though since he had raised me since I was three years old. Anyway, at the time my Heart was horribly broken. Through the years I thought about the person he had been when I was young and realized that I was so much better off without him in my life.

    18. I think of her on her birthday. We are still good friends and keep occasional contact, but it's just to hear how our family and kids are doing. The broken heart was for both of us because I was leaving to come back to the US and she stayed behind in Saipan with her parents.
