Getting back on track

For months I have stayed at or under my calorie goal, exercised most every day but this weekend I fell very short of those standards. The first day was a celebratory dinner with my husband. The plan was to get right back on track but I couldn't !! What are some skills y'all have used to get back on track?

    Follow simple rules, make small changes. That's what works for me! For example, my exercise rules are 1) never skip a Monday workout and 2) never rest for more than 2 days in a row. For eating healthy, I started with 1) eat a healthy bowl of cereal and fruit every day and 2) no candy for a month.
