I retired in January and although it is very hot here in the desert of west Texas, the mornings are comparatively cool and peaceful. I get up every morning and sit in my canopy swing with a cup of tea, a book and my dog at my side, watching the hummingbirds and butterflies feed and listening to my wind chimes and the breeze moving through the branches of my trees. And I am so happy. So happy I wanted to share my happy place, and ask you to share yours.

    Awesome. I have a mountain a block away at the end of my street. I live halfway up the last, littlest Rocky mountain.

    I usually keep my 'monsters' under the bed, lol.

    It's been a long time. I used to have like DDR3 or something for Playstation and I would play at home. I was never super good but I was decent. I don't think I could name a single song for that game but I think I still have the mat in a box somewhere.

    I third DDR for happiness. Song of choice would be Injection of Love (Hina Mix) DDR Extreme 2. That whole game makes me happy though lol.
