I want to lose 45 pounds in 4-5 months. I am not going on any extravagant diet but I am only eating white meat and drinking green tea and water. I have depressed my portions and slowed down my eating. And I am already down 3 pounds after only a week. I am super excited to lose weight.

What! No vegetables, fruits, grains? Sounds like a recipe for success to me!

Why so restrictive? There's a better way.

Also, 3 pounds in one week is likely not all fat. Water weight and glycogen stores make up a portion of that. Weigh loss rate will not be that fast throughout this diet.

Small portions (eating in moderation) is a good thing, but restricting almost every kind of food out of your life is not. In the long run, this type of eating leads to failure. Learn to eat all types of food in moderation, by buying a food scale and weighing all solid foods, logging and sticking to a calorie deficit. You will still lose weight ,and you will be happier not trying to eat such a restricted diet.

My diet isn't very restrictive at all I'm just not eating red meat. I don't like red meat and if you don't eat red meat it can also help with other health issues.

Your original post makes it sound as if you are only eating chicken and drinking green tea. Literally nothing else.
If you had said, "I'm simply not eating red meat, but still enjoying a well-rounded diet, along with the addition of green tea", you would probably have gotten nothing but kudos.
