I lost another pound!!!!!!!!!! It's the water, and, I am only eating right around 50-75% of my exercise calories, depending on if I am hungry!!!!!!! Oh thanks all of you that have encouraged me. Especially my friend, edie(nwfamilygal)and fitness_chick as well since she is who got me to drinking atleast half my body weight:happy:  :drinker: .

Love to all of you:heart::flowerforyou: and keep drinking:drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:

PS I am drinking on an average, 3 thirty-two ounce glasses of water a day and it is getting so easy to do so. Again, my skin is so soft, even at age 56!!

I don't know "why" it works but fitness chick said she drinks half her weight in water each day so I did the same!! I just knew how the scales were gonna read this a.m. I also feel so much better not eating all the exercise calories. I "listen" to my body and if I am feeling hungry I eat, but something healthy and I don't eat just 6 meals or 5, sometimes I eat 8. Anything to avoid eating too much at one time, yeehawwwwwwwwww! We are winners sis!!! love and hugs, denise:heart: Btw, that 32 ounce glass helps me a lot. Keeping track and all, and, I don't have to keep filling it up all day;) 4 eight oz a glass ya know watt' am sayin:laugh:

There was a post from someone within the last day or so about the Lipton Green Tea On The Go. I went and purchased a couple of flavors and WOW! These are actually very good. As someone who dislikes water and has gone from drinking absolutely no water (thirsty used to = soda) to drinking only water and gradually trying to increase the amount of water, I am always looking for ways to make it taste better. I have only tried the cherry blossom, but am looking forward to trying some other flavors. :drinker:

Good for you sis, I hated water too! That's just not normal, LOL! But it was because I wasn't taught to drink it. I was raised on pop, milk and anything "but" water. So now, it's beginning to be all I crave as far as a thirst quencher. I am blessed with well-water that is delicious. I like it way better than bottled even. But I was at my sisters over christmas and they have city water. I put a squirt of lemon in mine though and it was fine:) I don't know if it will be the same for you, but I love the purity of drinking water now. Just knowing it's best for me makes me want it more. hugs!!! denise:flowerforyou: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:

Just for me and my body, and I am not professional, two things held me back. First, I was not eating enough of my exercise calories, then, I was eating too many of them. I had to listen to my own body and determine how much of each food group I needed. I eat 6-8 meals a day from all the basic food groups. The other thing, was the water. I hated drinking it and probably was in a state of dehydration when I hit this site. God bless and wishing you all the best, I know you can get there if I can:bigsmile: :flowerforyou: Write me anytime:)

    a fitness buddy, denise:)

    The picture?
It's a monthly comparison poster that I made on my computer. I then used it as my pic on the ticker. It spans from Apr '07 until Sept '08.
    Thanks.

for me it isn't a theory, I proved it works, for me. I was getting no where losing until I started doing that, plus, stopped eating "all" my exercise calories. Someone else may have more scientific info on it, Im sorry I don't:)
