Character Name Help! (Authors, Roleplayers, Cosplayers, etc.

For all you authors, roleplayers, and/or otherwise character creators out there -

I work at the local Renaissance Festival every summer, and this year I've been cast as a gypsy. We're playing them very much like the most common gypsy stereotype (thieves) and our ensemble leader would like us to come up with silly names instead of straight up Romanian/Russian names, but I'm drawing a blank. Her name is awesome - Ivana Ripuoff - and everything I've come up with thus far doesn't sound nearly as good. Any ideas?

    Haiduci (hide-ooch) is a mythical Romanian gypsy robber character; cognate with Robin Hood in English mythology. Hope that helps.

    i dont like ivana ripuoff too much actually because it sounds like "i wanna rip off" and it could be taken as a cheesy stage name?

    but ivana is a beautiful first name!

    you could do something with the first name Hannah (kinda sounds like Hand) ... so like something like Hannah Memoney or whatever... if i think of something good, I'll let you know
