I'm a sparkpeople convert! Decided I needed a change from Spark and thought the features here are great! Having a hard time finding friends though and would like some motivation! And challenge groups! Would like some kind of challenge group to join. I am 49 and into my 5th year of trying to be healthy. Ups and downs with losses and gains. Right now feel like I am at square one with weight loss. Menopause and thyroid issues have derailed the losses. I crossfit , walk and do yoga for fitness and am very committed to my health!! Looking forward to meeting new people!

Thank You! I am not going to do yoga every day. I'm probably a 2-3 times a week person. My main love is crossfit but I can only do that about 3 times a week and needed to add something so the walking and yoga are additions. Thank you all for your invites!!0

MFP has a menopause group: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/506-near-or-post-menopausal-group
I have Hashimoto's (autoimmune thyroid disease). Thyroid meds (in my case, Synthroid & Cytomel) reduce the fatigue so I can be more active. But I still kept gaining until I learned to log everything I eat & drink accurately & honestly. Logging works.
I followed the advice in the Sexypants post: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/1080242/a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants/p10
