In early May I was really dizzy and was having a hard time breathing. A friend demanded I go to the doctor I did. I had an infection and so I got some antibiotics. This was doctor trip was the first of many. I found myself at the age of 40 on May 28, 2015 seriously talking about weight loss surgery with my doctor. I was depressed and really down.

I went home and the next day really pondered the idea. I came up with idea that I would see where I was in six months and then make the decision on weight loss surgery. I dusted off my myfitnesspal and my fitbit and started to walk. I have over 100+ to loose and when you think of the whole it is overwhelming.

Two months into it I am 30lbs down from where I started. I am 303lbs this morning. I'm darn happy I feel much better than I did two months ago.

My goal for the next month: is to be more accurate at tracking my food, smile and 200 land.

For myself there is a mental barrier with 200 land that for some reason I'm not good enough but I keep telling myself I am good enough. You know what I am! I will take it one day at a time!

I could always use more friends so please add me! Thank you!

You can find friends in the Fitbit Users group: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/1290-fitbit-users

Fitbit challenges are great motivation—and fun!

What a great attitude. You are good enough!

Great job!! Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day. Take it one day at a time and make changes you can live w/the rest of your life and if you slip up (eat something decant or too much of a good thing); get back up dust yourself off and keep going--because you're going to slip up. Just don't throw in the towel because of a day of bad eating.

Small changes snowball!! 200-land is so within your reach; you'll probably be there in less than a week :)
