Weightlifting at home

hi everyone. I was just wondering is there a website or maybe a video that will tell you exactly what moves you should be doing with free weights each day to target each body party per day? I don't want to sign up to a gym but I'm hoping that I can do most of the stuff at home. Thank you in advance!

Good programs, but take a fair investment in equipment to do at home; probably a couple hundred dollars if you find some deals on Craig's list or something.0 -
yea love this! ive had questions about weight lifting but always afraid to get negative replies0

Do you have weights already? What increments, and what types (dumbbells, barbells, etc.)? That could change people's recommendations for you.0

I have Dumbbells and barbells. The Dumbbells as low as 5 and as high as I can barely lift them0
-
I also have a bench0

So jealous! Do you have a squat rack or cage? Starting Strength or Stronglifts 5x5 would be wonderful if you have a safe way to squat, and you could run either of them for a long time before you'd need to change programs.0

If you can, download the free Nike Training Club App---its like a personal trainer at home and all you ever really need is a set of dumbells and a medicine ball. I used a gallon of water for a while before I bought a medicine ball lol0

You don't need a rack or cage for either of those programs to start with. A spotter who can lift 50lb is more than sufficient to start with, and even then I'm squatting +200lb with no cage or spotter most of the time. However, I know that I can't push the limits without having spotter(s) on hand unless I buy a cage.
EDIT: to add, a new setup with a cage is on my "to buy" list for the exact problem that I can't push the limits. However, I started out back in the winter and have made a lot of progress with what I have.0
