How old's the baby? Are you exclusively breastfeeding?

There are options in the food database for breastfeeding that will actually add extra calories to your day rather than subtract them. Just type "breastfeeding" in your search box and you should see several options.

I have a 7 month old too and I am adding 300 calories a day to account for breastfeeding because he is eating some solid foods now. I would start with 300-500 and then see how it goes for a couple weeks. If you're not losing, reduce your calorie intake. It's all sort of a guess with how many calories you are actually burning.

Glad I found this. I have a 3.5 month old EBF as well. Thanks!

I've read breastmilk is about 20 calories per ounce, and babies take an average of 25 to 30oz per day until a year old.

500 calories but it really depends on the amount of food she is eating.
    She is beautiful!
I'm breastfeeding My Baby and I add it as a cardiovascular workout 500 cals
Your not supposed to eat less then 1,800 cals a day which is what I average a day.

300 to 500 calories if breastfeeding on demand.
