Started on Monday and lost 6 pounds , its not much for some I guess , but for me having a thyroid cancer and having it removed its pretty good , due to the surgery my metabolism is super low and if I'm.not careful I could gain mad quick , so changing my eating habits I'm seeing very positive results , last wk seeing the doctor I was 205lbs , now I'm at 194lbs..... let's see how it goes for 2 more wks , wish me luck

Hello,
I had thyroid cancer as well. I have been NED since 2013 and find it harder to lose weight due to no metabolism either. I joined MFP for friends and encouragement. I know we can do this. We are THYCA Warriors!!!0
