Started a week ago

Have been trying to lose weight for a while now. I am 57 and weight is not coming off as easy. Started this plan with 1200 calories a day, and trying to get in walking or bike riding daily. Weighed in today, and lost 2 pounds. Woo Hoo!!

    Great job Joni! I agree with you on the not easy part. Ever since I got into my 50's (54 at the end of Aug.) it's harder than ever! I've been using fitness pal for 11 days and it's been great keeping me accountable and kind of fun to see how much I many calories I can burn exercising and seeing that I can eat some things I love and stay in my calorie goal. I've lost 3 pounds so far, 13 to go! Keep up the good work!
