What does your MFP name mean and why? Is it just for fun or something significant to you? I'm curious as I see some really unique one's out there. Care to share?

My name is Mountain_Woman.

I live in Alaska and 2 days after I moved here, I declared my love for this state's natural beauty. I decided I was going to become a mountain woman. Grow out my hair, Learn to identify skat, love the land. All that jazz. LOL. I am happy here. Just being in Alaska, I feel stronger then I ever have before. Huzzah!

    It has a few meanings
    -Angel has been my nickname nearly all my life and it's the name my hubby actually met me by.
    -My husband is in the Navy and I am his "Angel waiting at the shore" as he says.
    -And the ocean is a part of my soul

    When I was in my high school one of my close friends and I made up our alter egos. She was Kelly Starr and I was Jaedyn Moon. So well....that's about all it means lol :)

    I was an automotive engineer doing ECU Calibration but before that I did tuning on japanese performance vehicles and drag race cars.

    Hence J is for Japanese.

    haha Guess that's what I get for ASSuming. I assumed your name started with a "J" and your last name was Tuner.

    Mine is just my name... I know real original... except my name isn't common :wink:

    My husband has always called me baby, babydoll, babygirl and since babygirl was taken in most variations, I needed a number too. 5 has always been my lucky number.

    Mine is just the same online handle I've used since like 1997. It's something my buddies in high school used to call me. My last name is Huffman, and when "gangsta rap" blew up in the early 90's and everyone was making fun of rapspeak, me and my friends started adding "dogg" to the end of everyone's names. Mine stuck...15 years and counting. o_O

    I had just started MFP and couldn't think of a good moniker. -And then I heard Queen on the radio. Proportionately, my a** isn't even all that big, but I thought it was better than just "big all over lady".

    it's actually a derivative of various nicknames my husband has used for me.

    Ziaki is a name I use for my World of Warcraft name.

    A friend and I came up with it a few years back. It doesn't actually have any meaning in any other language that I have found though I do get asked if it's Japanese a lot.

    The only really interesting thing about it is that I know more people that call me Ziaki than I do people that call me by my born name. . .

    I use britachu or a variation for most things I do on the internet. I think it came about during college -- a combination of my name (Brit) and pikachu (someone drew a pikachu on my dorm whiteboard, and things just went from there).

    Well, because waaaaay back in 2009, my plan was to get fit. And I did it! But now, here it is 2011 and my fitness has unraveled. So now I am back on the wagon, but I have kept friends over the course of the last couple of years and my food diary is all in here with the old moniker, so I don't want to delete my account and start over.

    Mine, surprisingly, has nothing to do with actual sunsets.

    I work at the HQ of a grocery store chain, and we call one of our stores Sunset West because of the street it's on and the part of town it's in. My last name is West, and my cube neighbor thought it was funny to call me Sunset West. When I told my hubby of the new nickname, he, of course, related it to a p0rn star, adding another layer to the name. Now people at work call me Sunset on a regular basis.

    well mine is Carizma27 carizma because my friends say I am very charismatic in everything I do.... (kinda funny) 27 was my age when I never ever thought about modeling.. because I thought I was too fat... that someone came up to me and Iwanted me to do ad campaigns for their photography company and then that started to turn into Jewelry ads etc... Who knew...LOl so kinda stuck.. its silly but cute memories...
