I JUST FINISHED! And let me tell you....I FEEL ON TOP OF THE WORLD! I made it through, even though I felt like puking, but the high at the end, knowing I had accomplished it, WAS SO WORTH IT!
So today I have walked two miles and completed day one of 30 Day Shred!
I am just beginning my weight loss journey, but after today I really feel like it is more realistic.
My current weight is 148
Goal Weight is 125
I CAN DO THIS RIGHT?????????

That's amazing. You're the first person I have heard say they got through the whole thing. Did you do every single rep? Cause truly, that amazes me! I have done the workout about seven times now and still can't do all the reps.0 -
You don't have less willnes than others. So keep it up and do day two tomorrow ( by the way .. you will feel sore tomorrow but DON'T skip the workout ).
Hope U all the best.0 -
I just finished day 30 and I feel amazing! So much stronger, and so much fitter. I would post my before and after pics, but I don't know how. If I figure it out I will.
Congrats on Day 1... you will feel better and better every day.0 -

I am a weakling and very out of shape! I just started using MFP about a month ago. I have been using the 30DS workout from time to time but never completed the 30DS in consecutive days. The way I figured out how to get all the reps in is to either use no weights or to use 2.5 pound weights. There is one exercise that I use 5lb weights for and I could probably use 10lb weights for the chest flies, but I think it is more important to find the weight that allows you to get all the reps in! If you cant complete the reps you need lighter weights!0 -
There were a few times that I missed two or three reps, but I made sure I caught them up at the end before she moved on. I have done so many dvd's and stopped half way through, but I told myself I was not giving up this time!0

-
Yay! This makes me happy im planning on buying the dvd tonight. So are dumbells the only thing ill need??0

I just finished Day 20 and I'm LOVING it! I've NEVER enjoyed DVD workouts before.......so far I've lost 3" off my waist and 2" off each of my thighs. It was SUPER encouraging to me to view before/after pics on here.......Keep up the good work! (In some ways, level 2 is easier than level 1....Level 3 begins tomorrow for me!)0
-
How did you track it in the exercise log? I'm also doing the 30 Day Shred, I just don't know if I'm logging it accurately! Good luck!0
-
I'm in the middle of doing it as well, and it will definitley get easier! You will feel so awesome!! You can do it!0
-
I am so happy for you and so excited to see your excitment! Happy we could be on this workout journey together!0

I bought the DVD last night and tried it this morning. I don't quite understand how it works. I started with the first level, and was not able to do even half of it. I could not do any push ups at all, and before 10 minutes was up my legs were like jelly.. so when you say you got through the DVD are you referring to level one?? or all the levels one after another. I figure it's going to take me a month to learn how to just get through level one, and I may never be able to do the push ups... another question is are we to do this everyday? or three days a week.. one day in between to rest the mussels?0

Just ordered this off of Amazon tonight and will get in on Thursday... So excited!0

This is a daily workout for 30 days! I cant wait to get to day 30 and I am only on day 1! Are you doing your pushups on your feet or knees? I have to do them on my knees still! I cant even imagine when I will be ready to do them on my feet!0 -
im just curious how u put this in your exercise diary0
-
I put it in as circuit training! And to me that is what it is, 1 exercise after another keeping cardio as a 1 in 3 ratio! Heart rate never drops, it is circuit training.0

out of the loop herer can someone please inform me how this wrks :flowerforyou:0

Thats so awesome!
I literally JUST finished my first day too! I havent worked out in forever and I feel great!
Does anyone know how to log track 30ds for exercise??0 -
Most people log a 30DS workout under cardio as circuit training for 20 minutes. I'm on day 5 of level 1, and I still can't keep up with all the cardio, but have seen improvement already. And my arms and abs are already looking better. Hate the workout, love the results!0

It's a Jillian Michaels workout DVD...you do Level 1 for 10 days in a row, then move on to Level 2 for 10 days in a row, then move on to the final level, Level 3, for 10 days in a row. Each level does strength, then cardio, then abs.0 -
Lemonbug, you really inspired me to start this workout too!
Hopefully I'll start it tomorrow (as I've already worked out this morning)
Thanks!!0
