Would love to have someone that also has to lose weight and needs motivation to stay on track by having a sort of competion with each other. I am doing my own version of the 21 day fix by just measuring my portions and accessing the workout videos on YouTube. I am 160 and my goal is 135

Are you trying to lose 25 in 21 days?

Haha! That would be nice but I am going to do my own version and be realistic. I would love to have someone else that wants to buddy up and to challenge each other. That way I have accountability to someone else.

Most people lose an average of 10 to 15 pounds the first 21 days but it all depends on how well you stick to it and also how much weight you begin with. I will continue it after the 21 days until I reach my goal.

I am really good at the fitness part. The food part is hard. My goal is 25 more. I have kept 35 off a long time. Exercise is king. I am at gym by 430 am for years.

I used to be workout addict but I let myself go for three years. I walk once a week and that's not cutting it! I am weird about going back to the gym because I am so out of shape but I know that's what I need to do in order to get in shape! lol Now instead of being a workout addict, I am a food addict! I'm also a total emotional eater to top it off! I will start dieting and then I am bad for one day and continue to be bad! That's why I need a partner in this. I can't do it on my own like I used to. I am hoping I can be my old self again.

Been there. I have had 6 surgeries over the years from over use and really bad form at the gym. Had to start over every time. You can do it. Each day is a chance to be who you know you can be.

Wow! That's amazing! Good for you! My only excuse is being insecure. I had someone ask me at the gym if I was pregnant! I said no and they said are you sure and I said yes, I'm sure and then they said did you just have a baby and I said no and again they said are you sure and I said yes I'm sure! I haven't been back to the gym since! That was 10 pounds ago and now I really do look pregnant! Lol

Don't beat yourself up. Its hard. Try looking up dr. joel Fuhrman on youtube. He convinced me to go all plant based. I got his book as well. Changed the way I look at food. My energy and gym workouts went through the roof. There is a ton of stuff you can do at home until you feel like going to the gym. You can and Will do it.

@jbouton40 Thank you so much for the encouragement! Sounds great and I'm so happy for you! I will check it out but I doubt I could give up eating meat and I have a hard time eating enough fruits and veggies. I am planning on changing my wicked ways though >:)
