Im 29 male 281 pounds i been on here for two weeks now and lost 3lbs but my question is it has my goal at 3070 calories a day i am active i work in auto shop when i started my diet 2 weeks ago i started going to the gym should i try to hit that 3070 calorie mark or should i try to be under but a certain amount? Also by the end of day after work and gym it says i should eat 6000 calories which seems way to high i feel like im doing somthing wrong haha

You're meant to hit the goal.

Are you logging your work as exercise? That should be included in your activity level and not added separately.

If you're logging 3,000 calories for your exercise at the gym you're probably over-estimating by a lot unless you're spending several hours in the gym working at a very high level.

You burn plenty of calories just by living and going about your day, so there's no need to exercise them all off. Yes, you should be hitting that number.

If you feel good at that calotie intake and you're getting enough nutrition (hitting your macros and nutrient levels), you are probably okay.
