Has anyone upgraded their MFP t any of the locked features? Anyone using the low carb version? If yes, to any of these questions, is it worth the price? Do you like it better?

Any MFP member can set the percentage goals for macronutrients in the free version in 5% increments, including a "low carb" percentage. There is no need to use Premium for that - I wonder where people are hearing that piece of misinformation. One of the added Premium features is that a member can set the goals in 1% increments instead of 5% increments.

I upgraded.... I'm not sure I'm actually using the features. I just like supporting the site, I guess.
