First day, MyFitnessPal

Today is my first day using MyFitnessPal.

61 year old Grampa of 3 gorgeous grand daughters. I need to lose about 100# and get in shape.

Today is also my first day starting a 10 week program at Farrell's Extreme Fitness in White Bear Township, MN

I expect to be sore tomorrow, but I'm stoked to get myself headed down the road to better fitness, better nutrition, and better health.

    Welcome! :smile: you have an exciting 10 weeks ahead of you...I'm assuming you are also now tracking your food and calories on MFP? Weighing your foods and having accurate portion sizes will help you on this path tremendously! Good luck, I look forward to following your success!

    Hi, I'm a grandad too with two grandsons and I'm also 61. I'm looking to control my diet and increase exercise. Off and walking. John

    Hi, I joined Farrell's April 2015 in Blaine, MN and during my 10 weeks lost 15 lbs and 7% body fat. Are you still going? I decided to become a fit member since I've lost 84 pounds since Oct 2014 and want to lose another 16 by Oct 2015. I like the support I get there and the new relationships I've made keep me going. I remember those first few weeks of being sore and the adjustment to getting up early, now its become routine and I love the energy when I get there first thing in the morning. I hope you had a great 10 weeks like I did and continued success!
