My favorite is a Green Monster Smoothie. It's from the Oh She Glows cookbook/blog, which is vegan, but this is just plain delicious whether you're vegan/vegetarian or not! It's not terribly sweet either, which I actually really like. Most of the sweetness comes from the banana, so if your bananas are really ripe, it'll be sweeter. You can always add some stevia, honey or maple syrup to sweeten it up a bit more if that's your preference. I've been using a Tropical ground flaxseed mix that has coconut, banana in pineapple in it with the flax...so good!

    1/2 C frozen blueberries
    1 C frozen mixed fruit
    1/2 C plain Greek yogurt
    1 scoop unflavored protein powder
    1 tbsp chia seeds
    1/2 C cooked cold oatmeal
2 tsp Truvia (I like sweet stuff)
    1/2 C water

I put everything but the water in a tall stainless steel milkshake cup at night before I go to bed and mix it in the morning with a stick blender. Tastes good and keeps me full all morning

I like to keep it simple.
3/4 cup fat-free plain greek yogurt
    1 cup frozen berries
    50g fresh spinach
    4 oz apple juice

I usually sweeten with a scoop of splenda to taste.

I just posted on another similar thread to check out simplegreensmoothies.com for some great recipes. A ton of varieties but basically 2 cups liquid (water, coconut water, coconut milk or other) 2 cups green (spinach, kale, etc) and 3 cups fruits (any and often mixed). Delicioushuf7h9jkxltx.jpg
