I am a Native San Diegan. I have been all over the U.S. and I am always beyond excited to get back home to SD when I travel anywhere. As for things to do and eat it's totally up to what you are in to. I recommend going to Point Loma Seafood and hitting up an authentic taco shop. Luche Libre is good, but my favorites are Lolita's and Santana's (Get the California Burrito, chicken flautas, or torta). I also recommend going to Ocean Beach, Belmont Park, La Jolla, Coronado, and Del Mar/Solana Beach to experience the diversity of beaches and beach towns. I love living here and would love to answer any questions you may have. There are definitely tourist spots and local spots... Hit me up if you need any help. Have a great trip!

Just there a few weeks back. LOTS of good breweries, if you like beer.
Here is a great map
EDIT: Map link doesn't work. Just Google "san diego brewery map" and look for the PDF
Oceanside is a great beach. Not sure why people don't like it as much as others. I also dig La Jolla Shores or the Cove.0 -

We got the printed one in our room in Escondido and I LOVED having it. Stone Brewery was right next to the place we stayed too. And apparently, I like Stone IPAs
Last night...
