    Can I just throw in that what we eat tastes much better than my dad's MRE's did? I wanted to know why his troops complained about them, so he let me eat one. And I ate it. And I would again if I were starving. But I totally get why they have a bad rep. My brothers (USA and USAF retired) tell me they improved, but they'd still rather have my spaghetti. And they don't like my spaghetti because it's GF.
